About Me
I am a clinical psychologist who refuses to choose between practice and academia. I love this career because it lets me wear many hats - as a therapist, consultant, researcher, educator, speaker, and activist, to name a few. My overarching mission is to develop, deliver, and disseminate psychological interventions that are effective, accessible, and culturally responsive. Please browse this site for more details on my clinical work, research, teaching, and speaking.
A bit more about me personally: I am a South Carolina native. After training in Massachusetts and Connecticut, I returned home. I live with my husband, Gareth, and two cats, affectionately named Lexapro (Lexi) and Zoloft (Zola). I enjoy tennis, pickleball, hiking, video games, trivia, reading, word puzzles, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
